Chris, director of the IMT Des Moines Marathon, has been one of our girls’ biggest cheerleaders over the last several years through his support of our Hit the Ground Running program.
 
Because of his support, girls in our fall session will be participating in the IMT Des Moines Marathon 5k this Sunday. If you're on the race route, keep an eye out for our purple shirts and help to cheer them on!

Winter Party Item Donations
 
Our annual Winter Party is just around the corner and we need your help! We are looking for donations of small gifts to help our girls and young women keep cozy this winter, be prepared in school or to just boost self-esteem. Check out our Winter Party Wish List for examples of what we hope to offer them this season.
 
Donations are requested to be brought to the YWRC by December 7.
