Calendar of Giving -- July 2015

Our monthly Calendar of Giving offers supporters an easy opportunity to get involved. The items featured are difficult to find in Cambodia or too expensive for our teachers and students to obtain. The Calendar of Giving is open to supporters worldwide, and your collection campaign can be big or small. Remember, every donation counts!

July Collection Campaign:   Rain Ponchos

Cambodia's rainy season lasts from May until October--almost 75% of the country's annual rainfall occurs during these six months. Help keep our students dry on their journeys to school!  Please consider collecting and donating rain ponchos.

What kind of rain ponchos are needed?
CFC accepts child-sized rain ponchos and lightweight raincoats.
Please do not send umbrellas.

Caring from afar....
No matter where you live in the world, you can join in the spirit of giving with our Calendar of Giving without having to collect physical items or worry about international shipping costs. With your donation, CFC staff will be able to purchase the items directly in Siem Reap. By donating on-line, your gift benefits Cambodia twice - once by directly helping kids and once by benefiting the local economy!

To make a monetary donation to our July Calendar of Giving, please click here. CFC staff will purchase appropriate rainwear locally in Siem Reap. A contribution of USD$5 will be directed towards the purchase of one rain poncho.
