Lent Term 2025

Dear Hillian,
It has been just over 10 weeks since I joined Kingham Hill as the Alumni Engagement and Development Lead. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of meeting many of you and chairing my first Hillian Committee meeting. My sincere thanks to the Committee members, and Deputy Chair Mark Foley, for their ongoing support and dedication.

I’m delighted to be part of the Kingham Hill community and am eager to connect with more of you in the months ahead. As a graduate of St Catherine’s College, Oxford, and a former pupil of The King’s School, Gloucester, I have always been passionate about fostering community and supporting the arts. My leadership experiences at Pembroke College, Oxford, and within the financial sector—at Lloyds TSB and HSBC—have shaped my approach to connecting people and building strong networks.

There are many ways to stay connected with both Kingham Hill and the Alumni Community. This month, we're thrilled to launch our Alumni Ambassador Programme, which will unite Hillians from all corners of the globe. More details are included below.

I also encourage you to join the various social media groups and pages listed at the bottom of this email to stay updated on all things Kingham Hill. I particularly recommend joining the LinkedIn Kingham Hill School Alumni Career and Networking Group. We will be adding content to this group over the next few months.

Finally, if you haven’t done so already, I highly recommend exploring the school’s digital archive. You’ll find the link to access it at the bottom of this email.

Looking ahead, I am keen to meet more Hillians, whether at in-person events or online. I look forward to hearing your ideas, and strengthening our community as we work together to shape the bright future of the school.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Andrew Mitchell, Alumni Engagement and Development Lead

Alumni Ambassador Programme
The Alumni Ambassador Programme is a global initiative to bring alumni together from across the world.

We are looking for individuals to lead regional, school year and interest-specific groups related to sports or other shared passions.

As an Ambassador, you’ll be responsible for hosting at least one event per year; this could be a casual meet-up at a local pub, a virtual gathering, or any other creative event that fosters connection within your alumni group.

If you’re interested in becoming an Alumni Ambassador to help build these connections, please reach out to Alumni Engagement & Development Lead, Andrew Mitchell, who will be happy to schedule an online meeting to discuss the programme in more detail, including guidance on setting up a group and event ideas.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope you’ll consider getting involved.
