Generous Support Makes Economic and Personal Finance Education a Reality

Our work is made possible through the generous support of our friends and advocates, and we gratefully acknowledge two special experiences this month:
  • First Financial Bank promoted Economics Arkansas all month long with a special exhibit table at their Prospect Building/Little Rock branch. Even Congressman French Hill stopped by!
  • The Blue & You Foundation (Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arkansas) presented us with a check for $12,350 for our new Professional Development series Take 2: Healthy Meals on a Tight Budget

 Thank you!

Spring Training is Here
March marks the beginning of our busy PD time

While we offer Professional Development (PD) training for teachers year round, spring marks the beginning of our busy time. Kicking off our 2019 spring and summer training is Econ in the Rock on March 14 with "White House: Green Building" in Little Rock. This series invites participants to discover economics on location in Central Arkansas to find economics here, there and everywhere. Destinations include the Clinton Presidential Library, Barnes and Noble, the Arkansas Heart Hospital, the Thea Foundation and Dickey Stephens Ballpark. Teachers receive PD credit, snacks, resources and curriculum and a $25 stipend.

Guests are welcome with advance notice. Come join us on these 2-hour outings to share the love of economics. Check out our Event Calendar and let us know when you'd like to tag along.
We'd love to have you.
