The Monthly News | | | | Bag It and ICEC | Bag It is excited to share that we have been selected to present a poster at the 2024 International Cancer Education Conference (ICEC). Organized by the American Association for Cancer Education, the Cancer Patient Education Network, and the European Association for Cancer Education, ICEC is a premier event where oncology professionals from around the globe convene to explore innovative strategies and technologies that enhance cancer education and patient care. At this year's conference, Bag It will proudly showcase our new Spanish Bicultural Bag It Bag. This novel resource is specifically designed to support Latino and Hispanic individuals diagnosed with cancer and their families. The bag provides culturally relevant education, practical support, and self-advocacy tools in a bilingual format, all aimed at improving communication, fostering understanding, and empowering patients to manage their care and well-being. |
