 National Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Month!
The White House has officially declared April 2024 as the first-ever National Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Month!
The Month will:
✅ Raise awareness by educating the public about the importance of cancer prevention and early detection through healthy behaviors and routine screenings.
✅ Inspire action by empowering individuals to take control of their health by adopting healthier behaviors and getting routine screenings.
✅ Mobilize resources by encouraging public and private investment in cancer prevention and early detection initiatives.
✅ Highlight progress by acknowledging the tremendous strides made in cancer research and early detection strategies, driven forward by the Cancer Moonshot. |

Bag It recently exhibited at the LatinaSHARE United Voices Conference, held in Spanish, which placed a spotlight on critical topics including socioeconomic barriers, trust in health services, cultural stigmas, and mental health impacts. During the event, we proudly unveiled the Spanish Bicultural Bag to participants, establishing meaningful connections and offering vital cancer resources to the SHARE community that aligned with the aims of the conference. This gathering provided an excellent platform for collaboration and alignment with individuals who share our commitment to empowering Latinas on their health journeys.
