North St. Louis County Habitat for Humanity is celebrating National Roof Over Your Head day by thanking the great partners who are allowing us to provide a roof to the Edstrom family of Biwabik!  The City of Biwabik has provided greatly discounted fees and permits, which allowed the students of Mesabi Range College, under the tutelage of Leo Lukas, to pour the foundation, begin framing the walls and, this week, to raise the trusses on the new Edstrom home.  And, to top it off, as it were, the trusses they will be raising were DONATED to Habitat by our friends and supporters at Kylmala Truss!  This is the type of community wrap around support that helps us PUT ROOFS OVER THE HEADS OF at least five families a year.  Thank You!
Of course, this is just the start of the Edstrom project.  Join us and your fellow Habitat supporters tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 p.m. at the Biwabik Evangelical
Covenant Church to learn more about YOU can help us and Kris put a roof over her young family's heads.  Everyone is welcome!!
