A huge thank you to our partners from SWOP!
For the THIRD summer, NSLCHFH has partnered with the summer youth program, SWOP.  These youth, ages 11-14, are too young to help on a build site, but they are more than happy to donate their skills to helping us prepare our big Habitat 500 mailing.  This group of hard working youth are spending part of their summer doing service work in  the community and concentrating on character building, life skills development activities, and employment-related skills.  Check out more about their program here!

Meet the 2018 Habitat Partner Families and
Plan How You'll Help This Year!
Thanks to the hard work of our friends from SWOP, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, Messiah Lutheran Church and our NSLCHFH partner families and board members, the 2018 Habitat 500 newsletter is winging its way to your mail receptical.  We are always so happy to put together this collaboration between our partner families and the Habitat 500 riders who are helping to raise funds for their homes.  If you'd like a sneak peek, just click here to see the online copy!  And if you are ready to support these families and riders, just click here to donate and please add into the comments section if there is a particular rider or family you are supporting this year.

Of course, we are also looking for help in building with these families and with feeding our build volunteers.  The Patterson home in Hibbing is almost ready to sheetrock, with the subcontractors hard at work on their plumbing and electrical work.  The Moschler family is ready to prepare their foundation later this month and the Ducote family is working on new walls and exterior decks.  Let us know how you'd like to help us this summer by replying to this email or calling Susan at 218-750-2611 today!

Thank you to the great Habitat 500 Newsletter mailing crew!!
