Help Brittany Build Stability and Home
Your "Peer to Peer" fundraising efforts make a difference!
This house is being remodled to provide a sustainable home for Brittany and her family.
North St. Louis County Habitat for Humanity is delighted to be back and building in the lovely community of Ely this year! However, due to the pandemic and the nature of the project, we are sad that we cannot fully engage the community as we have in the past in helping to build. Instead, we are asking you to join us in fundraising to help us build with Brittany and get this family into their new home. Check out our new "peer to peer" fundraising page HERE where you can donate to the effort and invite friends to do the same. There are many great photos of Brittany working on her home as she completes her required sweat equity hours to build this home for her girls. Learn more about her family and their journey. We have included some statistics showing that too many Iron Range families struggle with paying for their housing that is often unsafe and substandard, to assist you in making your case as you use this new website to fundraise for this project. Every family we help with a hand UP also helps our community's strength and stability. Join us in our work to make a world where everyone has a decent place to live! By fundraising through your friends and family connections with this new website you can help us build homes, communities and hope in North St. Louis County. You are making a difference!
