8th Annual Ride for Food
Team Community Council has been busy pedaling and fundraising in anticipation of the 8th Annual Ride for Food happening on Sunday, October 6th.
We still need your help though! Consider making a donation to our team (or one of our team riders) as we raise money for the Food Pantry.

This is one of our biggest events of the year and we love participating in this important ride to raise awareness and funds to fight food insecurity in our own community!

Needham Bank Charitable Community Voting Campaign
A cool opportunity to support the Council -- we just need your vote!
Visit the page at A World For Good to choose the Council as your charity of choice. At the end of October, Needham Bank will make an additional donation to six local non-profit organizations. Each agency will receive a share of the donation, based on the number of votes they receive during the month.
It’s simple, click here to vote for the Needham Community Council and help us get a larger share of the funds! Voting is open to everyone and can be repeated daily so please vote for us and vote often.

Child Assault Prevention [CAP] Program
The CAP Program is currently seeking volunteers for the 2019-20 school year. Each year CAP volunteers, working in teams of 3, present workshops to first, third and fifth grade classrooms in the Needham Public Schools, teaching the children that they have the right to be Safe, Strong and Free with their friends and peers, when they meet adult strangers, and with those who are trusted to take care of them.
The next CAP volunteer training starts on October 20th. Visit the CAP page on our website for information on the program and/or email CAP Director, Caren Nemtzow.
