As we kick off a new year, we are excited to spotlight our Volunteer Coordinator, Susana Martinez. In this role, Susana is responsible for coordinating the volunteer and in-kind donation programs.

“I spend a lot of my time networking, reaching out to previous and current volunteers, and assessing inventory of our in-kind donations. I try to ensure that donated items are properly distributed to our facilitators. I keep track of what we have versus what we need, keep donations organized, and delegate tasks to our volunteers.”

Childcare Volunteers

We are looking to build a team of Childcare volunteers! These volunteers provide our Young Mom’s children with a safe space to play while their parent learns critical skills, financial literacy, what to expect during/after pregnancy, and more. Ideal volunteers are friendly, responsible, and have experience working with infants/children.

Current needs are for Mondays 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Tuesdays 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. Volunteers can choose which shifts to help with each month, but a three-month commitment is prefered to provide consistency for the children.

Ready to volunteer? Email Susana.
