About a month ago, our Perinatal Specialist Ashley posed this question to our Young Moms participants: “What challenge have you faced as a young parent (housing, economic, education, health, etc.) and how did you overcome it. What helped you?”
In celebration of the strength, resiliency and perseverance of our young moms, we’d like to share with you a few of their answers.

YOU have the ability to help us empower girls to become resilient and pursue their goals each day. In order to continue offering programs and transportation for FREE to clients, the YWRC relies on individual donations from community members like you.
Any year end donations received at $100 or more will be matched by a generous donor, with a total possible matching amount of $10,000!
As we enter the season of giving, we hope you will consider making a donation to support the girls and young we serve (1,721 last year!).

Donate essential personal care items to help us provide participants with essentials they need to be successful.
Our most needed items include body wash, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, lotion and coconut oil (all full size items please). Our participants would especially appreciate hair care items suited to kinky/coiled/textured hair.
