The Howell Mill Entry Improvement Project is underway! Thanks to your donations to AMPC's Annual Fund, contributions from the COA's Department of Parks and Recreation, council member Mary Norwood's office, and a Park Pride grant, AMPC is adding a beautiful ADA-accessible overlook. When the project is complete, park visitors will be able to use the ramps to meander down to the nature trails or the side steps to access the meadow below. The project is expected to wrap up in late March so be on the lookout for news of a ribbon cutting celebration coming this spring!
You asked and we heard you! AMPC is bringing 2 new belt swings to the Atlanta Memorial Park playground! Installation began on Monday with the swings ready for swinging by next week! This installation was made possible because of your generous donations to AMPC - thank you!
Join AMPC and Trees Atlanta docent Mary Lillian on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 4 - 5:30 pm for a Tree Tour: Atlanta Memorial Park - From Battlefield to Urban Forest. Mary Lillian will take the group on a walk to learn more about the rich biodiversity of trees and insects in the Park as well as its historic past. To register, click here.

AMPC is excited to welcome back the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper for Sweep the Hooch on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Join us from 9 am - noon to remove trash and debris from the creek and its streambanks. For more information and to register, click here.
