Tune in to Georgia Public Broadcasting tonight at 7 & 11 PM for special showings of “Saving the Chattahoochee”! The documentary chronicles how Sally Bethea, Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's Founding Riverkeeper, stepped up to become the face of the Chattahoochee at a pivotal moment in Atlanta's development, working alongside Mayor Shirley Franklin to change the course of the river's future for the better.
 
 

 
 
 
You are invited to the Trails ATL virtual public meeting on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 6:00 pm to provide initial input on future trails in the city. Trails ATL is sponsored by the Department of Parks and Recreation as part of the Activate ATL Strategic Plan. Each meeting will have a presentation followed by a Q&A session.

Join AMPC and Trees Atlanta for 4-0-Forest in Atlanta Memorial Park on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from  9 am - noon!  Activities include removing invasive plants such as English ivy, Chinese privet, Japanese chaff flower, and Japanese Hops. Our goal is to promote a healthy plant community and a sustainable forest in the park.

Buckhead Heritage invites you to attend their free speaker series on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 7 pm at the Murray Golf House. Panelists will include Catherine Spillman, Executive Director of the Atlanta Memorial Park Conservancy; Pete Pellegrini, the Senior Project Manager with the PATH Foundation; and Marty Elgison, President and Founder of the Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation. The panelists will discuss Atlanta Memorial Park's past, its present, and its future and how the legacy of one of the most influential figures in golf, a historic flood and the BeltLine converged to transform Buckhead's oldest park.  To register, click here.
