AMPC (Almost!) Summer 2023 Update
Atlanta Memorial Park Conservancy's mission is to restore, enhance, and preserve Atlanta Memorial Park, making it a beautiful, connected, and sustainable urban greenspace for the enjoyment of all.

Stop by next Sunday, June 25, from 4:00 - 5:30 pm for complementary ice cream and to learn more about the Atlanta Memorial Park Conservancy and our sponsor, Kathy Olmstead of HOME Luxury Real Estate. 
 
Since we had such a large turnout at our inaugural event, we will have even more treats available next Sunday.  But rest assured, if our limit is reached before the event ends, ice cream will be available for purchase! 
 

 
 
 
 
 
Join us for our next forest restoration volunteer day withTrees Atlanta on Saturday, June 24, from 9:00 am - noon!  Activities include removing invasive plants such as English ivy and Chinese privet. Our goal is to promote a healthy plant community and a sustainable forest in the park.

Join us on Saturday, August 26, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, in the meadow next to the playground, for food, fun and live music by The Big Cheese! 
 
A family-friendly event, Memorial in Motion is back for its second year in the park!  
 
Yumbii and King of Pops will be on site selling food and thirst quenching pops. Adult beverages and soft drinks will also be available for sale. Back by popular demand, we will have balloon making and face painting for even more entertainment!
 
AMPC appreciates our presenting sponsor, Neeley Bain with Dorsey Alston Realtors, for making this celebration possible.

To Cox Communications that will be coming out on June 29th to continue AMPC and the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's efforts toward a trash-free Peachtree Creek and Chattahoochee... To the Buckhead and Chastain chapters of the Young Men's Service League for weeding, painting over graffiti and helping in so many ways throughout the park... To the summer campers at Trinity Anglican for weeding at Debbie's Place and elsewhere in the park... To AMPC board member, Chris Hughes, and the Morris Brandon 5th grade students for giving us their input on educational signage in the park... To AMPC board member, John Adams, for installing the new pedestrian/bicycle counter at the Underpass... To the 4th grade girl scout group that came out to help clean up at the Underpass... To boy scout Jackson Bailey for completing his Eagle Scout project at the wildlife sanctuary....
