Bobby Jones Clubhouse
 384 Woodward Way
The Atlanta Memorial Park Conservancy and the Peachtree Battle Alliance are excited to introduce a non-profit group to the community to share their efforts to save the Bobby Jones clubhouse. This newly formed group is focused on classical music and music education and has proposed to completely renovate the existing clubhouse to host acoustical music recitals and provide educational opportunities for the surrounding community.
Renovating and repurposing the existing clubhouse has been a part of the AMPC's master plan since it was created with community input in 2013. In 2016, when the AMPC learned that the state would be leasing the clubhouse back to the City once funds were raised to renovate the golf course, both the AMPC and the Peachtree Battle Alliance talked with neighbors and other organizations to find an alternative use for the clubhouse that not only preserved the building but also kept it open for public use.  Thanks to the guidance and direction provided by Council Member Yolanda Adrean, the City has been involved in discussions with this non-profit group and supports the intended use.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, October 16, to learn more about the proposed plans to preserve the clubhouse.

Atlanta Memorial Park Conservancy's mission is to restore, enhance, and preserve
Atlanta Memorial Park, making it a beautiful, connected, and sustainable urban greenspace for the enjoyment of all.
