Message from our CEO
At IAALS, we believe in the power of people coming together—in times of challenge and celebration alike—to uphold and advance the rule of law. In my latest message below, I reflect on the growing threats to our justice system and the collective responsibility we share to protect its promise. When we stand together, progress is possible.

That spirit of unity was on full display at our recent Rebuilding Justice Award Dinner, where we honored trailblazers who are rebuilding justice—not just in theory, but in the tangible, measurable, human-centered work of making the system more fair and more accessible for everyone. I invite you to read more in this newsletter about this inspiring evening—including a Q&A with this year’s Alli Gerkman Legal Visionary Awardee, Robby Southers—and the momentum all our honorees are driving toward a more just and accessible legal system.
