Fab Newport Night
Friday, February 21st
4th to 8th grade families from both Rhode Island and Fall River County are welcome to join us at Fab Newport to see if they would be interested in attending their summer program.

Afterschool Activities Survey

Summer Camps
Star Kids receive up to $500 in summer camp funding! Many summer camp registrations are now open. For ideas on camps, please refer to our previous email. If registration hasn’t opened yet for your desired camp, be sure to check back regularly. Camps tend to fill up quickly, so it's best to register as soon as possible!

8th Graders
Good luck to the 8th graders applying to high school. Remember to keep us posted as you hear acceptances or be in touch if you have a question on applying and submitting your Financial Aid application?

We’re excited to let you know that we’ll soon be offering a new service that lets you receive important updates and reminders by text. You’ll also be able to contact us directly during regular business hours. If you’d prefer not to receive text messages, please let us know by January 31st. If you opt out, we’ll continue to reach you via email or phone. We’ll be sharing more details with you soon!

Mental Health Resources
We're excited to begin updating our website, including a new section under the 'Students' tab dedicated to resources for our families. Be sure to check out the 'Mental Health Resources' section, where you'll find helpful information and support services available for your child, yourself, or your entire family.

Student Highlights
|
- Approximately 100 people attended our Skating with Santa event in December.
- One student earned their driver’s license.
- A student placed 2nd in their school's robotics competition.
- One student received an A on their spelling test.
- A student served on a student panel during their school's open house.
- We are currently providing tutoring to 33 students.
- 22 families benefited from assistance provided by Star Kids during the holiday season.
