our sincere hope that you and your family are safe and well.
Our world is experiencing
changes that we could not have imagined just two months ago. Through it all, despite the uncertainty, there
is one thing I know for sure:
Heroes do exist!
The health care
professionals we see on the front lines of this pandemic risk their lives
everyday to care for others. As do so many others in essential services who work
to keep us safe and well-cared for.

As you may know, in March we
made the difficult decision to pause our programs until we felt it was safe to
deliver Mikey’s Way gifts to the immune-compromised children we serve.
I’m happy to report that as
of this newsletter
we have begun fulfilling Mikey’s Way Wish List requests
on a limited basis. Our plan is to continue
this gradual approach to resuming our programs, always mindful that the health
and well-being of the children we serve is our top priority.
Despite the Coronavirus, children
continue to be diagnosed with cancer at the same rate as always and the need for
Mikey’s Way gifts is as great as ever. Once
our programs are fully restored, we will have lots of catch-up work to do.
