Violence Can't Have Last Word
Dear RENEW Friend,
Even as we celebrate the hope of the Risen Lord, we have been confronted again with the darkness of hatred and violence. As people of faith, our response to such acts perpetrated by a handful of misguided human beings cannot be pessimism. To read my blog, click here

Meet Mary in Prayer
May is traditionally devoted to Mary, and that makes this a perfect time to deepen your friendship with her — and, through her, with Jesus — with At Prayer with Mary,
a new faith-sharing resource from RENEW International.
At Prayer with Mary, written by Father John Phalen and Brother James Posluszny, both members of the Congregation of the Holy Cross, consists of seven sessions with prayers, song suggestions, personal reflections, and faith-sharing questions.

New Videos Show Turning Points of Faith
RENEW International now offers a way to help parishioners start a dialogue about faith with family and friends who have left the Church or who are religious “seekers.”
Turning Points: Witness Stories
tell real-life stories of people who have experienced awakened faith and new life as Catholics. These short, engaging videos in English and Spanish encourage sharing and discussion.
Parish ministries will also find many uses for these videos, for example incorporating them in sacramental preparation and RCIA and sharing them through YouTube, Facebook, and email.
RENEW International received generous support for this project from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Catholic Communications Campaign and the Our Sunday Visitor Foundation. Visit www.renewintl.org/turningpoints
