Goings On...

Vacation and catching up after vacation means this comes to you mid-month, and amidst all kinds of activity! Things have taken off, and we are off to a good start, no doubt.

This past weekend our riders took home some serious hardware with a few new State Champs: Susie, Quinn, Ana, and Nick Harris (with a broken hand/wrist)! Congrats to you all for giving your best out at the AZ State Championship Time Trial race.

Also, the Arizona High School Mountain Bike League kicked off in Prescott, and El Grupo took home 6 of the 8 leader jerseys (Chloe, Cole, Isabel, Cara, Leo, and Ben), and the team championship (with our Tucson High team) to start off the season. Way to go!!

A word on housekeeping: please check out the new chore list at the clubhouse (see Keenan or Lindsay with questions on it), new designated space where to place ALL your belongings during practices on the shelving in the SE corner of the clubhouse, and the friendly signs: Please clean up after yo' self! These are great additions to keeping us all organized and working smoothly at the clubhouse - let's all play our part!
Events Upcoming...

September 20th - El Rio Health Fair - 10am 1pm (see blog for more details and outreach sign up later this week)

September 20th - El Grupito Kick-Off - 3pm - 6pm: We would love to have a few of you Team El Grupo members there as mentors to welcome the newest, and youngest members to the family. El Grupito practices will run completely separately, but you will see them around the clubhouse on Mondays and Wednesdays. We will have opportunities for all of Team El Grupo to interact with El Grupito at least once each month.
