Empowering Youth Through Bicycles
Goings On...

Happy New Year! What an incredible year El Grupo had in 2014. We are so grateful that you all could be a part of that. And we look forward to what we all can accomplish together in 2015!

We are going to start the year off looking good...so you will not want to miss the unveiling of our new team kits at our annual supporter appreciation event on Sunday, January 25th!

Our generous sponsors for 2015 are updated on our website and handouts are available at the clubhouse office. PLEASE study this! We should all know a little about EACH of our sponsors - it our responsibility.

This month will be low-key, but certainly will fly by. Be sure to plan for the semester by importing our calendar. Races and travel will be upon us before too long, and we want you all to be prepared!

Whether you "do" new year's resolutions or not, please resolve to READ THIS and the BLOG as these are our ways of communicating with you. As always, we are open to other ways of communicating that may suit you better - just let us know!

Help Tucson get a Velodrome!
Send letters by Jan 23
There has been a lot of work over the last 20+ years to get a velodrome (cycling facility) in Tucson. The Pima County Bond Committee is close to a decision, but needs to hear more from YOU of why it would be cool - especially as youth riders and parents. Look for more info in an email soon. Please send letters in support to Daniela no later than January 23rd.
Mechanic Hours -Fridays 2pm-6pm

More great workshops will be coming soon...

If you have a specific mechanic skill set you would like to learn, please talk with Colin, Shawn and/or Ignacio about it.

Also, Fridays are a great day after school to get your bike(s) cleaned up and ready for the weekend.
