COMMUNITY SUPPORT |
 | We are so grateful for the generous gift of $10,000 from the First Congregational United Church of Christ - Mankato toward our DCA (direct client assistance) fund. DCA is a fund that advocates access on behalf of victims and survivors to help alleviate a one-time financial difficulty caused by relationship abuse or sexual violence. DCA helps survivors pay for car repairs, first month's rent, childcare costs, food, home security items, and much more. |
 | CADA was recently awarded a $2200 grant from the Zonta Club of Mankato. CADA's mission to provide safety and support to victims of domestic and sexual violence through education, advocacy, and shelter aligns with Zonta's vision of improving the lives of women and girls in the Mankato area.
CADA was fortunate to be recognized at an event celebrating the Zonta Club of Mankato's 50th anniversary.
Congratulations to our friends at the Zonta Club of Mankato and thank you for the donation! |
 | Thank you to the team at Bellissimo Paint & Coatings, who gave our Mankato Keep Me Safe (KMS) Center a fresh coat of paint with a beautiful mural!
KMS Program Manager Debi Burg shared, "The calming color of the walls creates a serene atmosphere, making the space feel peaceful and inviting. Our clients have shared wonderful feedback."
Thank you, Justin Ek and your team at Bellissimo!

We are excited to announce that CADA is going to be the nonprofit beneficiary of RibFest, Mankato's tastiest music festival! The 26th annual RibFest will be held at Riverfront Park August 1st-4th. This event features three nights of music and delectable barbeque from award-winning ribbers from across the nation.
RibFest attendees can vote for their favorite vendors using "People's Choice Dollars." The proceeds generated through these votes will be donated to CADA! CADA will be volunteering at the event as ticket takers and ushers and helping to RACK UP the donations for our mission, and you can help us as a volunteer! |

CADA is excited to announce the launch of our monthly giving program, and we invite you to join us in making a lasting impact! You can help provide safer futures for survivors and children throughout the region. With your ongoing support, we can continue to provide critical services like shelter, support groups, safety planning, and so much more. By setting up an automatic donation, you can relax knowing that you’re consistently supporting CADA’s life-saving and life-changing work. As a monthly donor, your generosity will always be in action, helping us sustain our services without interruption. It's a simple, hassle-free way to ensure your commitment to survivors and violence-free communities never wavers. |
What can your monthly donation do?
$10 can cover the cost of a Lyft ride so a survivor can meet with an advocate
$25 could pay for a meal for every child and adult staying in CADA's shelter. $50 could cover the cost of a presentation about abuse at a school, business, or community event.
$100 can fund one supervised visit for a child and parent at CADA’s parenting time center.
