Dear Land Trust members and friends,
The Annual Summer Picnic is coming up on July 19, and I hope you can join us for this fun gathering because we have a lot to celebrate together! In the first six months of this year we have permanently protected two properties with 156 acres along the White River, 55 acres along the Entiat in the critical “Stillwaters” stretch that is so important to salmon and other wildlife, and the 52-acre Broadview Canyon property in the Wenatchee Foothills. And with last week’s announcement of the amazing gift from Tina and Eliot Scull to the Wenatchee Foothills Campaign, we are excited to share with you information about the campaign to raise funds for the largest project the Land Trust has ever tackled!
Speaking of celebrating, we are excited to announce a new, fun way that you can support the Land Trust during the month of July, thanks to the generosity of Oliver and Pamela Brulotte, owners of the Icicle Brewery. They have selected the Land Trust as the recipient of “Benevolent Beer” for the month of July. They will donate a portion of the proceeds of all Dirty Face Amber purchased during July to CDLT! We are also hosting “Leisure Tuesdays” at the Icicle Brewery in July, see below for details.
I also want to bring your attention to an opportunity for public service. The City of Wenatchee Parks Board is an important partner in our work in the Wenatchee Foothills, and there is currently an opening on the Parks Board. To learn more, visit the City's website

Benevolent Beer Month at Icicle Brewing Co.

The Land Trust is the “Benevolent Beer” recipient for July, which means Icicle Brewing Co. will donate 10 cents from every Dirtyface Amber sold within the month. As a local landmark in the Lake Wenatchee area, Dirtyface represents the Land Trust’s love of wild places and our desire to conserve them forever. So enjoy a cold beer and help raise money to support our mission.
We will also be co-hosting Leisure Night at the brewery every Tuesday night in July. Each Leisure night will have a different theme such as yard games and movie and popcorn night. With 50 cents off all pints, $2 off pitchers and fun activities, why not join us?
