Our Annual Fall Fundraising Campaign kicked off on October 1st.

Generous contributions from the community support Council programs as we do not receive any tax dollars. We are off to a great start and ask you to help us reach our goal. Thanks to all of you who have already made a donation.

More than 1/3 of the Council's annual operating expenses are raised during this campaign.

Look for a brochure and fundraising letter to be delivered to all Needham households this month. We hope you check out the wide variety of services which provide assistance to so many Needham residents and those who work in town.

Donations from you and your neighbors ensure that Council programs stay strong and vital and continue to provide help to the entire Needham community; but we can't do it without you!

Click here to visit our easy-to-use and secure online donation page or use the remittance envlelope included with the brochure to send your donation.

Many companies provide matching funds for employee charitable donations. We are a 501 (C)3 organization and can help you increase your support through matching funds...usually it is really easy to submit the necessary forms, and we can help!

If you see a program that might help your family, neighbor or Needham-based employees, please call us at 781-444-2415.

THANKSGIVING DAY COMMUNITY DINNER

An event co-sponsored with The Rotary Club of Needham & Needham Masons; open to all who wish to attend or have a dinner delivered to their home. We are now accepting reservations.

We have limited space for volunteers at the dinner and a need for drivers to deliver dinners.

Contact us at 781-444-2415 or email us at: office@needhamcommunitycouncil.org

HOLIDAY GIFT GIVING PROGRAMS

• SENIOR GIFT BAGS

Each year Council volunteers create and deliver hundreds of holiday gift bags for Needham residents as an acknowledgement and remembrance of the holiday season. Recipients may be living in a Needham nursing home, assisted living facility or in their own homes. Bags are decorated by groups throughout the community - school groups, houses of worship, scouts, families, birthday party guests, etc. and filled with donated items.

Contact our office if you are interested in helping us with this labor of love, or if you have the name of someone we should be sure receives a bag!

• FOOD PANTRY CUSTOMERS

Each year registered Food Pantry customers are invited to receive holiday gift bags ... new toys for children under the age of 12;  teens and adults receive a variety of holiday items and a gift card to a store of their choice.

We are now collecting new gift items  for distribution in mid-December. We will post a wish list for all holiday gifving programs on our website by November 15th.
