An Advent Moment: God Comes
Sr. Terry
Dear Friend,
In Advent, we celebrate the coming of the Savior, in the birth of Jesus and at the end of time, but the season also reminds us to be sensitive to the ways God comes into our lives all year long.

Giving Tuesday Is December 2
After Thanksgiving Thursday, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday comes Giving Tuesday. On Tuesday, December 2, an international day dedicated to giving back, please make a donation to help RENEW reach out to young adults through our internationally-recognized ministry Theology on Tap. This outreach welcomes young people in their 20s and 30s to listen to and discuss faith-based topics and form friendships in casual settings such as restaurants and bars.

Be Silent Be Still artwork
You wouldn't know it from all the hub-bub that now begins before Halloween and grows more intense each week, but Advent is a time for quiet.  It is a season in which we hope to emulate the Virgin Mary, who contemplated the will of God as she awaited the birth of Jesus.

Prepare for Lent
Lent invites us to a time of prayer, reflection, and conversion
RENEW International invites all small groups and parishes to make a six-week retreat by exploring the Sunday readings of Lent with our Lenten Longings series. This year’s readings and reflections cover the theme, For the Life of the World. Participants are called to commit to works of justice and to the ongoing conversion of hearts.
Experience the gentle spiritual guidance and practical wisdom of Fr. Ronald Roheiser, OMI, with Longing for the Holy. This resource will enrich your sense of the presence of God and enliven everyday life.
Visit our online store for the full selection of resources for Lent in English and Spanish.
